Adrift’s Promise
Adrift Hair Co. makes every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your hair appointment result and / or experience. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of your service or within 24 hours after your service has been performed. We unfortunately cannot offer complimentary hair revisions on matters that are not the salon’s liability (examples include and are not limited to: I changed my mind, I want to go darker / lighter, hair has grown out and it needs more color / blonding, etc).

Service Refunds
Services performed by Adrift Hair Co. are non-refundable but we will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charges as we always guarantee our work. The service must be a mistake from the service provider—NOT something you might have changed your mind (after the service has been performed). Photos of your hair (front, back and side) in NATURAL DAY LIGHT must be submitted to the studio by email or text with your concerns. You have 48 hours to contact the Salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction and a correction must be completed within the 7 days after your appointment.  Corrective services will not be allowed 7 days past initial service date. Please keep in mind, using box color or going from dark to light tones may result in more than one service to achieve your desired result as a correction and fading from all hair color will occur. After any color correction, once your hair has faded or is showing unwanted tones due to fading, a maintenance appointment is required to keep your corrected color refreshed. It is not the liability of the studio to continuously provide color refreshes due to fading of the hair. Using professional products to protect and maintain your color investment is always highly recommended. Without using products the studio recommends, the studio is NOT responsible for hair fading (within 7 days) or color issues between hair coloring appointments. Adrift cannot be held liable for in-between appointment fading due to typical grow out, prolonged hair color maintenance and outside factors out of the provider’s control.

Right to Refuse Service
Adrift Hair Co. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our team. Clients who refuse to sign a liability and Model release at the time of service will be denied the scheduled appointment service and can rebook a future appointment online upon completion of requested signed salon policy documents. This is to protect the Client’s safety and Adrift’s liability.

Product Refunds
We are happy to return any unused retail products you purchased within 5 days of original purchase. No cash value is given however a product replacement of a different type will be issued.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows
We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen and you may need to cancel or change an appointment with us. In order to respect the time of both our guests and our staff, we simply ask that you notify us of a cancellation or reschedule no less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Adrift reserves the right to barre you from scheduling in the future. This allows Adrift ample time to fill the reservation lost should you need to cancel/reschedule your service. Appointments that are cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the start of your service and result in a no-show, may result in a charge of 50% of the cost of the service you are reserved for. This is at the discretion of Adrift Management. The fee will be charged to the credit card we have on file that was used to secure your reservation.

In order to respect the time of our professional team’s time, if an appointment is no showed you will be subject to a no show fee. No show reservations will be charged 50% of the total amount due for services or lose the service deposit paid, and we reserve the right to barre you from scheduling with us. Please be advised if you no-show a perfecting session— we will not be able to schedule a new reservation free of charge.
 
Please be courteous to your Artist and Adrift’s other Guests. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your reservation we have the right to reschedule your appointment or shorten your session to accommodate the next client to be on time. We will consult with you ahead of your appointment if we are running behind.


Children at Adrift
​We offer haircuts for children as an “express cut” for children under 8 years of age. For older children, Adrift offers a “teen cut” which appropriately fit the amount of time spent rendering hair services. All children under must be accompanied by an adult while the consultation is performed, service providers reserve the right to stop any services if a child is being unruly or they are unable to fulfill the service. For this reason, we ask that parents of small children do not leave their children unattended and they be present for the child’s service. By booking your child at Adrift, you are consenting to them receiving services and your information must be in place of theirs for booking (if under 18 years of age).

Methods of Payment
Adrift Hair Co. accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express. Card payments have a 2.9% fee assessed from the credit card processing company. If booking an extensions application or the Dream Hair Package, the first half payment is due at the time of booking by invoice while the remaining half payment is due at the time of final service. A payment plan can be setup for those who want to pay in advance of their service but final payment must be made no later than 14 days of the desired appointment date. No holds on extensions dates will be provided until full payment is made to accommodate others who are needing to schedule their appointments.

Appointment Booking & Online Scheduling
We can only accept bookings through Adrift’s online booking site. We are a salon start-up and our focus is always 100% on our clients, therefore—we do not have a front desk / phone system for booking. Our booking is 100% online.
If you have your appointment and do not rebook your next service in advance, the studio will not make special arrangements for you to be fit in at a later date if there is no appointment availability. There are no exceptions. This is to provide a reliable appointment schedule to our clients who have rebooked to maintain their spot with our hair artists.

Your reservation request will be scheduled based on first availability. Your request IS NOT APPROVED until you receive confirmation from our team.

Medical Concerns & Questions
It is against regulation to perform services on clients with head lice or various other scalp conditions. If a client has been found to have head lice while receiving a service in the salon we would not be able to complete the service the same day. We would be able to complete the service within 48 hours once the head lice treatment has been completed by you.

If you are experiencing a current medical condition that is affecting your hair or scalp, it is highly recommended to seek out medical advice from your primary care doctor. We are not able to give advice or consult you on health concerns due to liability purposes.

Adrift’s Hair Extensions & Hair Loss

Hair Clients who are experiencing current hair shedding due to a medical condition or surgical procedure, are recommended to wait for hair extensions services until shedding has stopped. Adrift’s luxury extension method attaches little keratin bonds to your hair that will not slide out unless excessive shedding has occurred. They will shed out or grow out. Due to this, we screen every client to protect the client’s investment. Please disclose if you will be or have recently (past 2 months) had a surgery with anesthesia, have a medical skin / hair diagnosis or suffer from any condition or take certain medications that increases your likelihood of hair shedding (pregnancy or postpartum included). During your Great Lengths Extensions consult, your health history will be reviewed to determine candidacy for the Great Lengths Extensions method. A liability waiver must be signed in acknowledgment of your medical history that may affect the life of your extensions.

Gift Certificates

  • Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from the date of purchase and must be presented at time of service.

  • Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable.

  • Please email Adrift concerning lost gift certificates at hello@adriftsalon.com.

  • All gift certificates are non-refundable.

  • Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

  • Gift certificates are valid at Adrift are only for services offered at the time the certificate is redeemed.

Adrift Hair Co. LLC ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you opt in to receive text messages from us.

1. Information We Collect When you opt in to our text messaging program, we may collect the following information:

  • Any preferences or details you provide related to our services

2. How We Use Your Information We use your information to:

  • Send appointment reminders, promotions, and updates about our services

3. How We Protect Your Information We implement security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Opting Out You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent unless you re-enroll.

5. Sharing Your Information We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except when required by law or necessary to provide our services (e.g., working with third-party service providers who assist in message delivery).

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
